Sukmayas Trip to the United States

My trip started on June 28, 2009.  Some of my family came with me. Their names are Bir Man, Jilli, Bhim, and Aditiya.

Our trip started in the Beldangi refugee camp. We took the bus from the Beldangi Camap to the IOM offices in Damak. We stayed at the IOM offices for about an hour.

From the IOM offices we too the bus to Bhattrapour. The trip took two hours. We stayed in Bhattrapour for three hours. We had some food there.

From Bhattrapour we flew to Kathmandu. The trip took 445 minutes. In Kathmandu we stayed in a special building for refugees for three days.

Part 4 Then we took the bus from Kathmandu to the Kathmandu airport. We waited for the plane for one hour. Then we flew to New Delhi. That trip took five hours. We waited in New Delhi for seven hours.

From New Delhi we flew to the United States. We landed at the Newark airport. The trip was very long. We stayed in Newark for one night.

The next morning we went back to the airport. Everybody got on the plane but the plane wasn’t working so se went back to Newark and stayed for two more nights. The next morning we took a little bus back to the airport again. At the airport we got a little bit lost. We waited two more hours for the airplane.

Then we flew from Newark to Chicago. From Chicago we flew to Grand Rapids.  Our sponsors from St. Patrick’s Church were at the Grand Rapids airport to meet us. We have very good sponsors. From Grand Rapids we came to Grand Haven to my son Sukman’s house and had some food. Then we went to my house.

We lived in that house for only one month. Then we moved to 120 N. Ferry St. We got so many special things for my family from our church. We are so thankful for our church.

In 2010 we got a nice car. Thank you for the nice car.
